How do I know this will sound like me?
We start with a deep-dive interview where I get to know you/your band, including your music, personality/branding, history, and goals. I’ll create a draft and then send to you for review to help shape what feels the most authentic.
What does the press release include?
If you don’t have an announcement in mind, the PR process starts with strategizing what the press would find the most newsworthy. From there, I’ll research, write, edit, revise, and layout the press release. If I’m sending it on your behalf, that includes curating a list to match your target audience and then submitting with follow-ups. You’ll be informed of any outreach opportunities.
What if my website needs more/fewer than 3 pages?
We can work around that. Extra pages typically range $250–$500 each, depending on complexity, and will be added onto the package cost. If fewer than 3 are needed, we can allocate that writing to other marketing needs, but it will not lower the cost of the package.
Do you design websites?
I can create a basic WordPress website for you at an additional cost. I’m not a web developer, but I have been building WordPress websites (like this one) since about 2007. If you’d like something with more “pizzazz” I can connect you with a web designer.
I don’t have an announcement yet—can I still benefit from this?
Absolutely. We’ll strategize your publicity and social media campaigns around your next major milestone, and the rest (bio, site copy) works anytime.
